Cindy's Story

Cindy is an executive consultant and certified coach with more than 40 years’ experience helping small business owners reach their goals and achieve success.  With a keen ability to ask the right questions and probe beneath the surface, Cindy analyzes situations to uncover the real issues and helps clients determine the best action. 

Business owners usually come to Cindy for one of three reasons:

  1. They want more sales.
  2. The company isn’t operating smoothly.
  3. Their business is running their life.

When you work with Cindy, you’ll notice she focuses on finding solutions to the big issues that are getting in your way. She’ll help you set clear goals and lay out the actions required to achieve them.  If sales is a challenge, Cindy is an expert in developing marketing programs that utilize the most cost effective and successful ways to bring business in the door.

She works with a diverse array of businesses including manufacturers, real estate professionals, landscapers, painters, chiropractors, veterinarians, and financial planners.

Cindy currently serves as the Marketing Chair for SCORE Treasure Coast and is a Certified Score Mentor for small business owners.  Prior to founding Giroud Consulting, Cindy was head of Scott Paper Company’s corporate contributions program and instituted the company’s first strategic planning process.  A published author, Cindy wrote “A Guide to Strategic Planning for Corporate Contributions” for the Council on Foundations. She was also the first president of Delaware Valley Grantmakers and Donors Forum Co-Chair.

One of the best examples of Cindy’s success in helping business owners achieve the results they want is her work with her family’s business, Giroud Tree and Lawn.  

Cindy helped the company develop a 5-year strategic plan that resulted in a 300% increase in sales and helped position the company for sale to a national firm.  

As Vice President of Marketing, she built the company into a marketing powerhouse that consistently produced leads and sales.  Her marketing strategies connected with customers and prospects on multiple levels and included customer satisfaction surveys to build customer reviews, establishing a lead generation call center, personalized direct mail and email campaigns and creating a website that was consistently at the top of the search engines.
